BetaThe bad review gets written because nobody asked first.
A couple dined on Saturday and left underwhelmed. On Monday there is a two-star review. It is already written.
It exists and can be demonstrated.
Who does it
What it does
The Follow-up employee asks the next day, on the guest's own channel. The happy one it takes to the public review. The unhappy one it opens a private conversation with and tells the team when a call is needed.
Result
Fewer bad reviews in public. More recoveries in time.
Almost nobody writes a five-star review without being asked, and almost everybody writes the two-star one without being asked. The problem is not the review: it is that nobody asked before it got written.
The Follow-up and Reviews employee asks. The day after the visit, on the channel the guest already used with the house, one short question. If it went well, it walks them to the public review. If it went so-so, it opens a private conversation, listens and tells the team, with the context, so someone can call.
It is in beta: the loop works end to end and we are tuning it with the first houses. What it learns from each reply goes back into the memory, so that couple's next visit starts knowing what happened.
